Vista Social pricing: the per-profile cost and what the agency tier adds

By Antoine Blanco··7 min read

Vista Social bills per social profile: $99 a month for 15, $199 for 30, $449 for 70, read on October 23, 2026. Annual billing takes 20 percent off. The per-profile cost is flat at roughly $6.50 across all three tiers, so what you pay more for is users, DM contacts and features.

That flatness is unusual and worth understanding before you pick a tier. Most tools discount the unit as you buy more of it. Vista Social does not, which makes the choice a feature decision rather than a volume one.

Vista Social plans, October 23, 2026

Read from the Vista Social pricing page today. Yearly billing is labelled a 20 percent saving and the published totals match that.

Plan Monthly Yearly total Social profiles Users DM contacts AI credits per month Shared calendars
Professional $99 $950 15 2 10 000 1,000 not listed
Advanced $199 $1,910 30 3 25 000 2,000 10
Scale $449 $4,310 70 4 100 000 3,500 25
Enterprise custom custom unlimited 8+ customizable unlimited 100, customizable

One number to verify before you buy: the pricing tables list 2 users on Professional and 3 on Advanced, while the FAQ further down the same page says 3 and 6. The page never reconciles the two. If seat count is what decides your tier, get it in writing from support.

The real vista social cost per profile

Dividing by what you actually connect is how you compare this grid to anything else.

Plan Monthly, per profile Yearly rate, per profile Monthly, per user
Professional $6.60 $5.28 $49.50
Advanced $6.63 $5.31 $66.33
Scale $6.41 $5.13 $112.25

The per-profile line is flat within 22 cents across the three tiers. The per-user line goes the wrong way: every step up costs more per person, because profiles grow faster than seats do. Professional gives you 7.5 profiles per user, Scale gives you 17.5. Vista Social is priced for a small team running a lot of accounts, not for a big team running a few.

What each tier adds

What the agency tier is really for

Two features on Scale are the ones agencies actually pay for, and neither is profile count.

White labelling. Reports and dashboards carry your brand instead of Vista Social's. If you resell reporting, this is the line item that justifies the jump from $199 to $449.

Client profile connection. Your client connects their own Instagram or LinkedIn account through a link, instead of handing you a password or adding you as an admin. That removes the single most annoying step of onboarding a client, and the single biggest security problem in agency work.

If neither applies, Advanced at $199 for 30 profiles is better value than Scale at $449 for 70, because the per-profile cost is the same and you are only buying capacity.

The add-ons, billed on top

These are separate from the plan on every tier. Prices read today:

Add-on Price
Employee Advocacy free to try, then $199/month for 25 employees
Listening free for your own profiles, then $75/month across social, web and news
X integration $29/month

The X line deserves attention, because it is the one that surprises people. X charges for API access, so tools either pass that cost through or leave X out. Vista Social prices it as a flat $29 a month add-on. PlugKit takes the other route and passes X calls through at cost, $0.005 to read a post and $0.015 to publish one, with a spend cap you set yourself. Neither is better in the abstract: flat is predictable, at cost is cheaper below roughly 2,000 posts a month.

Extra profiles and users above your plan are shown as "Customizable" on Professional and Advanced, with no figure. On Scale, extra profiles are sold in increments of 10 and extra users can be purchased, again with no published price. That is three prices the page withholds, so build your model on the tier you buy rather than on growing inside it.

Trial and billing terms

Vista Social against the tools it replaces

Entry prices read on each vendor's own page on October 23, 2026. The units differ on purpose.

Tool Entry price per month Meter Entry includes
Vista Social $99 social profile 15 profiles, 2 users
Sprout Social $79 per seat, annual seat 1 seat, 5 profiles
Agorapulse $99 social profile 10 profiles
Metricool $25 brand up to 5 brands
Later $18.75, annual social set 1 set, 8 profiles
Buffer $5 per channel channel 1 channel
Loomly $65 plan 12 accounts, 3 users
PlugKit $49 a month for 5 connected accounts connected account API and MCP, every tool

Vista Social's position in that list is clear: it is the cheapest way to reach 15 or more profiles with a real inbox and DM automation attached. Below 8 profiles it is beaten by Later and Metricool on price, and by Loomly if you need three logins more than you need profiles. The per-seat tools are covered in Sprout Social alternatives.

PlugKit is the odd row and not a substitute for most readers: it has no calendar, no approval workflow and no listening. It is a REST API and a hosted MCP server, so the publishing is done by your code or your AI agent instead of by a person. Pick it when nobody opens the interface. If the inbox is what you are buying, the honest comparison of what each platform API exposes is in social media inbox, and the DM window rules are in Instagram DM automation.

FAQ

How much does Vista Social cost per month?

On October 23, 2026 Vista Social publishes $99 a month for Professional, $199 for Advanced and $449 for Scale. Billed yearly those become $950, $1,910 and $4,310 a year, a 20 percent saving. Enterprise is quoted after a demo.

How many users does Vista Social include?

The pricing tables say 2 on Professional, 3 on Advanced, 4 on Scale and 8 or more on Enterprise. The FAQ on the same page says 3 on Professional and 6 on Advanced. The page does not explain the difference, so confirm with support before choosing a tier on seat count.

Is Vista Social cheaper than Sprout Social?

For anyone with more than one person logging in, yes, by a wide margin. Sprout bills $79 to $399 per seat per month on annual billing. Vista Social bills the plan, so Advanced at $199 covers 30 profiles and 3 users where one Sprout Standard seat at $199 covers 5 profiles and one person.

Does Vista Social charge extra for X?

Yes. The X integration is a $29 a month add-on, separate from your plan, because X charges for API access. Employee Advocacy ($199 a month for 25 employees) and Listening ($75 a month) are the other two add-ons billed on top.

What does the Vista Social Scale plan add?

White labelling of reports and dashboards, client profile connection so clients connect their own accounts, 70 profiles, 4 users, 100 000 DM contacts, 3,500 AI credits and premium AI training with escalations. If you do not resell reporting or onboard clients, Advanced is the better value at the same cost per profile.
