Where to find scheduled posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and X

Find Instagram posts under Profile, Menu, Scheduled content; LinkedIn posts through the composer's clock icon; Facebook Page posts in Meta Business Suite, Content, Scheduled; and X posts through Unsent posts on the web. For a post scheduled with another tool, check that tool's queue first.

Where to look first

Sources below were checked September 15, 2026. Some Meta help pages required their publicly indexed excerpts because direct access was unavailable. These are documented procedures, not results from a connected-account test. The limits apply to the named native workflows; an API or another account type can have different rules.

How to see scheduled posts on Instagram

The indexed English Instagram scheduling help page describes public accounts, up to 25 posts daily and a 30-day horizon. Older localized versions give different eligibility and scheduling limits; check the options available in your app before planning a launch around that maximum.

In the Instagram app:

1. Open your profile and tap Menu.
2. Under Your insights and tools, choose Scheduled content.
3. Open a post's Options and choose an available action, such as rescheduling, deleting or sharing immediately.

The same help page describes a composer route through Create, Post or Reel, then Scheduled. It excludes product tagging, collaborations, sponsored posts and fundraisers from scheduled content.

Public visibility and professional account status are different settings. PlugKit's Instagram integration uses the official API and requires a professional account, meaning business or creator. A public profile alone does not meet that API requirement.

When the list is empty, confirm the account and where the post was scheduled before creating a replacement.

How to see scheduled posts on LinkedIn

For a personal profile, LinkedIn's scheduling guide gives this desktop route:

1. Choose Start a post on the homepage.
2. Open the composer's clock control.
3. Select View all scheduled posts.

On mobile, use Post, the clock, then View all. Open a queued item's More menu for Modify schedule or Edit post; use its delete control to cancel it.

Personal posts can be scheduled 10 minutes to 3 months ahead. Events, Jobs and Services are excluded. Opening the composer is the documented way to reach this list; that does not establish that every LinkedIn layout lacks another shortcut.

For an organization, use the Page's admin view. LinkedIn's separate Page guide requires super-admin or content-admin access. Choose Page posts, then Start a post, the scheduling control and View all scheduled posts, as shown in the Page rescheduling guide. The Page scheduling window is 1 hour to 3 months, with additional exclusions including multiple photos, reshares and polls.

How to find scheduled posts on Facebook

For a Facebook Page, Meta's desktop Business Suite guide provides this route:

1. Open Meta Business Suite for the relevant Page.
2. Choose Content, then Posts & reels.
3. Select Scheduled.
4. Open the post's three-dot menu and choose Manage post.

Available actions depend on status and include editing, rescheduling, moving to drafts and deleting. Meta lists full control or content permission as the access required to create posts. Check your permissions when the expected actions are unavailable.

The Facebook Page scheduling help page states 20 minutes to 29 days ahead. That is a Page-workflow limit, not a universal Facebook API limit.

Business Suite also manages connected Instagram content. Its mobile guide covers creating and scheduling Facebook and Instagram posts, but the complete mobile instructions were inaccessible during this check. Use the documented desktop route above when you cannot locate the mobile queue; the cited guides do not promise identical lists across every scheduling surface.

How to schedule X posts and find them again

Use X on the web for this workflow. In X's posting guide, scheduling appears in the web instructions; the iOS and Android app instructions do not describe the same controls.

To schedule, open the composer, use the calendar icon at the bottom, choose the date and time, then confirm the selection and complete scheduling. To return to saved drafts and scheduled items, open the composer and choose Unsent posts.

The bottom-of-composer location refers to the calendar icon. X's guide does not give Unsent posts a fixed position. When you cannot find this workflow in a phone app, open X in a browser and check the web composer. The cited guide does not specify a maximum scheduling horizon.

Why a post scheduled by another tool may be missing

A scheduled entry in a tool and a native scheduled post are not necessarily the same object. For example, the standard X create-post endpoint has no future-publication timestamp. An integration using that endpoint must arrange when to send the publishing request.

Facebook provides an exception: its Page Feed API supports scheduled_publish_time for a Page post. A tool can therefore create a scheduled object on Facebook before publication. You cannot conclude that every third-party scheduler stores every pending post exclusively outside the destination platform.

Check the scheduler's documented behavior for that platform and content type. Does it retain a pending job, create a native scheduled object, or expose both? That determines where an edit or cancellation needs to happen.

An expired authorization can stop API publishing, but failure reporting depends on the product. PlugKit's publishing documentation describes per-target errors and published, partial and failed outcomes, with webhook notifications. A missing native-list entry alone does not prove a failure, let alone a silent one.

What to check when a scheduled post is missing

Start with the account, the scheduling tool and the intended date. Confirm that you are viewing the correct personal profile or Page, then remove date and status filters that could hide the entry. Compare the time zone in the schedule with the time zone you intended.

Next, look for a saved draft, a queued item, a published post or an explicit error. Those are different states, so record the state you actually see before retrying. For a launch, keep the scheduler's post reference and destination account alongside the intended date; that gives a teammate or support contact something specific to investigate.

Reviewing the PlugKit queue through an agent

Then "what is scheduled for this week and on which accounts" is one question instead of four menus, and rescheduling is a sentence. The documented post tools include list_posts, get_post and update_post for listing, inspecting and rescheduling PlugKit posts. Rescheduling needs write access. This describes supported operations, not a claim that every native platform queue is imported.
